When I was 16 years old, I listened to music so differently. I'd lay on the floor in my room, with my head about 6 inches from the speakers...I'd pour over the liner notes, looking at the pictures, thinking about what the words meant and what the artist was feeling. I'd close my eyes and just lay there and listen to the music. And not do anything else at the same time!
I need to create more space in my life for just listening.
